Taylor Swift ended her Eras Tour on a Sunday — which meant her attention was just a bit divided between her final show and fiancé Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs.
Swift, 36, played her last concert on tour in Vancouver on Dec. 8, 2024, the same day Kelce’s Chiefs played the Los Angeles Chargers in Kansas City.
In a sweet scene from her Disney+ docuseries The End of an Era, the “Karma” singer put her Chiefs fandom on display alongside her dad Scott, rooting for the team backstage in her dressing room at the venue.
“You got the game on?” Swift asked as she entered her dressing room in a Chiefs sweatshirt.
As the game played on TV, the pop superstar showed just how invested she was, yelling aloud at various moments: “Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God… Thank you sir, I need them to keep running away with this.”

At one point, Scott joked that his daughter never imagined she’d be spending her last day on tour glued to the TV watching sports.
“I never thought that you and I would talk about sorts in my life ever,” she said. “I mean, it hadn’t happened by the time I was 32.”
“I just kind of waited,” Scott added.
As the day went on, Swift — who said she could “prioritize both things” — started practicing the surprise songs she would sing that night, but kept a close watch on the game. At one point, while rehearsing her song “New Romantics,” she sang the lines, “Get this first down, please.”
She even abruptly stopped singing at one point to scream, “Touchdown!” while Scott laughed.
“Yes! Oh s—. If this goes my way, the kind of day I’m about to have…,” she said.
The Chiefs went on to beat the Chargers 19-17, securing their ninth straight AFC West title. (The team has not had the same luck this year, and are currently out of playoff contention.)
Swift, meanwhile, wrapped her show and said goodbye to the Eras Tour.

“I think that after this tour, it would be nice to grow back some of the things that I’ve had to cut out of my life,” she said in a voiceover. “You just don’t have any energy for anything that seems optional. And so I’m interested in regaining some of that, ‘cause I know I used to have hobbies and a personality outside of this tour. I can’t remember what they were. I’ll let you know.”
The Grammy winner has been open about how dating Kelce, 36, opened her eyes to the world of football, something she previously had no knowledge of.
During her appearance on his New Heights podcast in August, she said she “fell in love” with football, and is now “obsessed.”
“I became a person who was running through the halls of my house screaming, ‘We drafted Xavier Worthy!’” the singer said, referring to the 22-year-old wide receiver selected by the Chiefs in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. “My friends are like, ‘Who bodysnatched you? What do you mean?’”
Kelce, for his part, expressed appreciation for Swift’s dedication to the game.
“I am forever thankful for you diving into the football world wholeheartedly,” he said.
