Emma Bunton’s 50th birthday called for a major celebration!
Bunton marked her special day on Wednesday, Jan. 21, and she threw a party in the Cotswolds region of England days later, reuniting with all but one of her former Spice Girls bandmates.
Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) was in attendance, as were Melanie “Mel C” (Sporty Spice) and Geri Halliwell-Horner (Ginger Spice), to celebrate Bunton (Baby Spice). Missing was Melanie “Mel B” Brown (Scary Spice).
Victoria, 51, shared a photo of the group on Instagram on Sunday, Jan. 25. “Happy birthday to the most beautiful soul @emmaleebunton I love you girls so much @gerihalliwellhorner @melaniecmusic xxxxxxx,” she wrote in her caption.
In the comments section, husband David Beckham cheered on the moment, writing, “This made me happy ❤️ I can only imagine how the spice girls fans feel 😍 @spicegirls 😍 @victoriabeckham special night celebrating Emma @emmaleebunton x.” (It is not clear if the retired athlete, 50, was in attendance as well.)

On her actual birthday, Bunton appeared on the U.K. radio show she hosts, Heart Breakfast, where she received a special video message from Mel B, 50.
“Bunton! Welcome to the fifty club! I wish I was there with you on your special big birthday day. I love you. Happy birthday,” said Mel B.
She also shared a carousel of photos of herself and Bunton over the years on Instagram. Sharing a sweet message in the post’s caption, Mel B wrote, “My dear ‘BUNTON’ you will always be BABY to me even though you are now the big 50!!!!!!! Happy Birthday I Love you lots and lots and lots !!!”
Bunton was met with birthday tributes from her other former group members on Jan. 21 as well.
Victoria shared a throwback photo of the pair on her Instagram Stories and wrote, “Happy birthday @emmaleebunton. I love you so much!!”

Mel C, 52, similarly shared a sweet tribute for Bunton on social media. “We have experienced so much together since that day we picked you up in Geri’s battered Fiat Uno at Maidenhead station, the day that changed everything. I love you with all of my heart,” she wrote on Instagram alongside a video montage.
“I love you with all of my heart,” added Mel C. “Always there for me and everyone in your life you’re the most incredible Mum, bandmate and friend. Happy Birthday my love, I can’t wait to celebrate you!!!! Have the best day, month and 50th year!! LOVE YOU BABY!”
Halliwell-Horner, 53, also posted on Instagram in celebration of Bunton’s birthday, writing in her own tribute post, “Happy 50th birthday @emmaleebunton! love you so much, you are such a special person with the biggest heart – grateful to have you in my life. Wishing you so much joy and love.”

Victoria’s attendance at Bunton’s birthday celebrations came as she and David have been embroiled in family drama with their eldest son, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, after he shared social media posts about his fractured relationship with his parents on Jan. 19.
