Vogue was calling “Lights, camera, action!” on set.
Indeed, the fashion magazine paid homage to the film industry with its star-studded fashion show, Vogue World: Hollywood, on the iconic Paramount Studios lot in Los Angeles Oct. 26.
The event, which included celebs like Ayo Edebiri, Julia Garner, Angela Bassett and Jeff Goldblum, featured looks inspired by Hollywood’s most beloved costume designers from films like Marie Antoinette, West Side Story and Dune.
While the celebration was full of glitz and glam, it was also about paying it forward. In fact, 100 percent of the ticket proceeds went to the Entertainment Community Fund, which supports actors, workers and creatives in cinema—specifically focusing on costume professionals impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires.
With Baz Luhrmann pseudo-directing the runway show, Nicole Kidman kicked off the evening with a rendition of Gilda’s “Don’t Put the Blame on Me.” Dressed as Rita Hayworth‘s titular character, she stunned in a black and white noir set before strutting onto the show’s runway.
