NEED TO KNOW
Miranda McWhorter is opening up about her love life as the year comes to a close.
After announcing her divorce from her husband, Chase McWhorter, in August 2024, the newest Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star has spent the last year focused on her children and co-parenting.
Earlier this year, in May, ahead of her debut on the reality TV show, Miranda shared with PEOPLE that she was “trying to have life experiences” after her divorce from Chase. “Just really soak up the time with it just being me and my babies,” she continued. “Obviously, I’m open to the journey, whatever happens, but I’m not currently really looking to date.”
Recently, speaking with PEOPLE at the iHeartRadio 102.7 KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball on Dec. 5, Miranda is opening up about what her love life looks like now, nearly seven months later.

The MomToker admits, “I don’t really go out much.” Nevertheless, she says, she’s “trying to start putting myself out there more.”
“I’m just so busy,” she says. “My schedule’s so crazy that it’s so hard to prioritize dating, and so… obviously my career and my kids comes first, so I’m open to anything.”
Miranda isn’t ruling anything out as the new year approaches, however, telling PEOPLE, “We’ll see what the new year brings, but for now I’m just kind of taking things as they come and seeing what happens.”
As the holiday season approaches, all of the MomTokers are gearing up to celebrate, and it looks like Miranda and fellow MomToker Layla Taylor are going to be spending some quality time together over the season.
Taylor is dating Chase’s younger brother, Mason, and she tells PEOPLE at the iHeartRadio 102.7 KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball that she is looking forward to the holiday season and spending it with her boyfriend and his family.
“I’m bringing my baby, so I’m really excited,” she shares. “And Miranda is going to be there actually, so it’s going to be a lot of fun. That’s exciting.”
Continuing on, she shares that her two kids have been getting along well with her new beau, sharing that they are “obsessed with him.”
“It’s been a fun transition being able to kind of see them get to know somebody else in their life,” Taylor says.
