Meg Ryan is spending some quality time with her daughter.
On Monday, Oct. 13, the actress, 63, was photographed walking the streets of London alongside her 21-year-old daughter, Daisy True. In the pictures, Ryan can be seen wearing a puffy black jacket and light wash jeans, pairing her outfit with sunglasses and sneakers.
Daisy walked on her mom’s right, wearing a purple jacket and pair of jeans. She carried a blue water bottle during the rare day out. This marked the first time the duo has been seen out together in over a year.

Ryan welcomed her daughter via adoption in 2006. She is also mom to son Jack, 33, whom she shares with ex Dennis Quaid.
Last October, the You’ve Got Mail star was photographed taking a casual stroll in New York City with her daughter. The two were both dressed stylishly for fall, with Daisy sporting a white-and-brown cardigan sweater paired with blue jeans, an orange polo shirt and glasses. Ryan wore a black coat over jeans and dark sunglasses.
As they walked and chatted, the mother-daughter duo munched on apples.
Although Ryan doesn’t often share about her two kids, in 2023 she opened up to PEOPLE about raising Daisy and Jack. “They’re just a blast. It is just a true joy,” she said at the time. “It is a joy to me to know both of them.”
While Ryan said that “each of them are so different,” she raved that both Jack and Daisy “are hilarious, they’re smart, they’re kind, they’re interested in other people, they’re curious about the world.”

Last December, Ryan spoke to The Sunday Times and shared she’d always thought she’d adopt a child and called the events that “conspired” to bring her and Daisy together “perfect.”
“I always thought I’d adopt, and at various points, I was on the brink of it,” Ryan told the outlet. “But it was particular to Daisy, I guess. I don’t know how events conspired to bring us together, but it was perfect.”
Ryan agreed with the Times when they suggested she and Daisy were meant for each other like the main characters in the Nora Ephron romantic comedies Ryan has starred in, including Sleepless in Seattle, You’ve Got Mail and When Harry Met Sally.
At the time, Daisy was a college sophomore, studying English literature at college in N.Y.C. “But she’s hoping to study in Bath one day,” added the proud mom, referring to the U.K. city. Ryan herself is also a “total anglophile” and has “this little London dream of living there one day,” she told the outlet.
