And if the Euphoria star is indeed on his way to being tapped as the James Bond, his Wuthering Heights costar Margot Robbie is all for it.
Though she admitted she “hadn’t had a chance to ask him” about the speculation, Margot added to E! News’ Will Marfuggi at the premiere of Wuthering Heights on Jan. 28, “He could do anything. He could play any character.”
After all, she got to see his work firsthand in the Emerald Fennell adaptation of the Emily Brontë novel, in which Margot plays Catherine and Jacob plays opposite as Heathcliff.
For Margot, their offscreen relationship soon became as powerful as their onscreen one.
“I remember the first couple days on set,” the Barbie alum recalled in a Jan. 14 Fandango panel, “he would just be like, always in the vicinity of where I was, but in a corner watching. On the third day, I found myself starting to look around to see where he was. I was like, ‘Well obviously he’s going to be somewhere close by. Where is he right now?”
