Macaulay Culkin is feeling the love at the Golden Globe Awards.
Taking the stage as a presenter at the Sunday, Jan. 11, ceremony, Culkin, 45, remarked that it has been 35 years since he was last at the Globes — when he was nominated for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for 1990’s holiday classic Home Alone.
“Thank you,” he said, seemingly delighted upon seeing the crowd’s warm reaction as he stepped out to present the Best Screenplay, Motion Picture prize.
“I know it’s weird to see me outside the holiday season,” Culkin quipped, referencing Home Alone and its sequel, 1992’s Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. “Shockingly, I do exist all year round.”

Culkin earned plenty of awards and nominations for his breakout role as Kevin McCallister in Home Alone, which was directed by Chris Columbus and written by John Hughes. At the 1991 Globes ceremony, the young actor lost out to Gérard Depardieu for the film Green Card.
The Fallout season 2 star marked his long-awaited return to this year’s Golden Globes with a Jan. 8 Instagram post, showing the announcement that he was among the ceremony’s presenters. “Cya Sunday,” he wrote as the caption.
