NEED TO KNOW
Lisa Barlow is opening up about where she and husband John Barlow stand after discussing their disconnect on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 6.
During part 3 of the reunion that aired on Tuesday, Jan. 27, host Andy Cohen asked Lisa a fan’s question about “what’s really going on” in her marriage because “it seems like John wants to embarrass you on camera.”
It was in reference to a conversation she and John had about the rough patch in their marriage earlier in the season, during which John told Lisa, “If we are not on the same page, it’s because I’m not on your page.”
“It was a really long, hard-hitting conversation for both of us,” Lisa told Andy.
“There are times where I feel completely undervalued,” she said through tears. “When I watched it back, I cried for two days. I was like, ‘I don’t even want to be near you, I don’t want you talking to me, because I just feel hurt. How does everything get done if I don’t listen? How does Henry get everything at school he needs? How does Jack get care packages? How do you have all your shirts cleaned, all your suits done?'”

Lisa then told Andy she’s “made very concerted efforts” to listen to John.
“We’ve been together a very long time,” she said. “We’re business partners, we’re parents together, we’re best friends and we’re in love. The bottom line is he knows damn well I really work hard on listening to him. For me, it felt really jab-y for him to say that when he knows I work really hard to listen to him. He took that opportunity to jab, and it hurt.”
“I said to him, too, ‘I would die before I’d make you look bad. You just made me look horrible on things that you know hurt me,'” she continued. “He broke my heart.”
