NEED TO KNOW
Kylie Minogue knows who she would love to collaborate on holiday music with in the future.
The pop icon, 57, reveals there are “so many” artists with whom she’d love to make some festive songs. But there are two in particular she has in mind.
“I mean, King of Christmas, Michael Bublé, that would be good,” Minogue tells PEOPLE. “Ariana [Grande], of course. She’s good [and has a] great Christmas song.”
But the “XMAS” singer noted that she’d be open to working with “any and all” artists on holiday music. “I just love collaborations in general,” says Minogue.

Minogue released Kylie Christmas (Fully Wrapped) earlier this month, a special 10th anniversary of her Kylie Christmas album, which features the original record’s timeless, tracks with a collection of new favorites.
Speaking with PEOPLE recently, the “Can’t Get You Out of My Head” hitmaker said the project was “ambitious” for her following her Tension tour, but it was “the perfect time” to honor her 2015 holiday record.
“This record, or some of the songs on the original record, are in people’s homes and hearts, and it rolls around every year,” said Minogue.
Of the process, she added, “It was so much fun. It was just a beautiful, beautiful experience.”
Minogue even revealed whether she plans to make another holiday album one day.
“Let’s see how I get through this one,” she said. “Probably. I could imagine maybe doing something slightly different with what I have.”
According to Minogue, that would perhaps be “a full orchestral version of all songs.”
“Strip it back, do an intimate performance, and have that as another album,” she said.

The “Padam Padam” musician says that in addition to the four new tracks on Kylie Christmas (Fully Wrapped), “there’s two others that we’d love to flesh out at some point.”
But in the meantime, Minogue has been contemplating what sonic direction she hasn’t explored that she’d like to try.
“I quite like an indie-folk playlist, just something that’s quite mellow and tuneful. I mean, I didn’t give myself this moniker, but the ‘Indie Kylie’ period, I think there’s something to be explored with a little seasoning,” she said.
Added Minogue, “I won’t say too much more.”
