Kaley Cuoco is 40!
The Big Bang Theory alum celebrated her milestone birthday with her fiancé, Tom Pelphrey, and friends, including stylist Brad Goreski and his TV writer husband Gary Janetti, in New York City. Cuoco detailed her fun outing in an Instagram post on Monday, Dec. 1.
“💫 this is 40 💫,” Cuoco, whose birthday fell on Nov. 30, wrote in the caption. “What a year, what a decade, what a life!”
“I had an amazing west coast surprise party that took my breath away, and last night the sweetest, most fun, east coast bday dinner (at my favorite NY restaurant ) with some of my nearest and dearest 🎂,” she continued.
Cuoco was snapped laughing with her friends and Pelphrey, 43, over cocktails at a restaurant and posing in her outfit for the occasion of a halter neck top, loose-fitting pants and platform heels.
“I feel so grateful for every moment I have, and the crazy road that led me to this moment in time,” Cuoco continued. “I adore my family, friends (and animals) 🐾 and thanks to each of you for making this very special 🎁 birthday feel extra extra special.”
Cuoco thanked Pelphrey for “always [going] the extra mile to make me feel like the most loved girl on this planet,” adding, “How lucky I am to live this life with you 💜💜💜.”
The Flight Attendant star shared another photo taken during her visit to N.Y.C. on her Instagram Stories of her and Pelphrey holding hands while standing in front of The Paris Theater, which holds a special place in their love story.
“@paristheaternyc is so special to me and @tommypelphrey … this is where we met 3 ½ years ago,” Cuoco wrote over the image, referring to Pelphrey with whom she shares 2-year-old daughter Matilda.

Pelphrey, meanwhile, posted another photo of himself and Cuoco standing outside The Paris Theater in N.Y.C. as he wrote, “Where it all began…”

Pelphrey posted a sweet birthday tribute to Cuoco on Nov. 30, writing on Instagram, “Happy 40th birthday to my favorite person. @kaleycuoco I didn’t get to see your first few chapters, but I am so damn happy I get to be here for this one, and every one to come.”
“You have a massive heart … you make me and Matilda feel like we are the only two people on the planet,” he continued. “Happy happy birthday to the sexiest, coolest, funniest— may you feel all the love you constantly give.”
