Jessica Biel is in a great place.
The actress had a big year in 2025 with The Better Sister, which earned her a Critics Choice Award nomination earlier this month, and is gearing up for the holiday season with her family.
A source tells PEOPLE that Biel, 43, “loves Christmas” and always makes the holiday “very thoughtful and special” for her and Justin Timberlake’s two sons, Phineas, 5, and Silas, 10, but “not necessarily over the top.”
“She’s doing great,” the source says. “She still loves acting on location sets, but she also wants to be around for her boys.”

Running her production company, Iron Ocean Productions, which she started with partner Michelle Purple in 2007, and producing projects has “become a natural direction for her.”
“She’s been more involved with her production company lately. She has great discipline, vision and is a natural in the producer seat,” the source shares.
“It’s a way to stay creative and involved in the industry while still being present for her boys,” they add. “Jess feels healthy, energized and excited about working.”

Timberlake, 44, has similarly been “focused on family time” ever since he finished his Forget Tomorrow World Tour this summer, another insider recently told PEOPLE.
“The tour was rough for everyone. Justin had fatigue, pain and was just exhausted,” the source said, adding that the singer is “focused on healing” following his Lyme disease diagnosis, which he disclosed in July.
When it comes to their marriage — the couple wed in 2012 — the insider said that Timberlake and Biel are “happy and united” and had a “small celebration for their wedding anniversary” earlier this month.

“Even when life is down, they’re very committed to their marriage,” the source said.
Earlier this year, Biel opened up about her 13-year marriage to Timberlake, whom she called “my best friend,” and how they make things work while juggling their respective careers.
“I think having a partner who understands this industry and adjacent industries, like the music industry, has been really deeply important and profound for my life and for our partnership because he just understands when I’m working crazy long hours,” she told InStyle.
The couple “try to have one of us working full time, only one” in order to be there for their sons, but Biel admitted, “It doesn’t always happen, because the opportunities arise and the timing is what it is. You just have to take advantage of it. We’re doing the same thing every other parent is doing.”
