NEED TO KNOW
One of Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs jerseys will proudly be on display in his brother Jason’s home.
As Jason, 38, and Travis, 36, answered fan questions on a bonus episode of their podcast New Heights released on Jan. 30, the former Philadelphia Eagle revealed plans to put up Travis’s Kansas City Chiefs jersey in the home he shares with his wife Kylie and their four daughters: Finnley, 9 months, Bennett, 2, Elliotte, 4, and Wyatt, 6.
Jason jokingly told Travis he was planning to mount his former teammate Brent Celek’s Super Bowl-worn jockstrap with one of his Eagles jerseys on display in the weight room in his home. After laughing at the idea, Travis told his brother he didn’t know he was the type to “show off” his jerseys.
“I’m generally not, but I do plan on displaying a lot of the jerseys I’ve acquired over the years, especially guys that I played with,” Jason replied.

When Travis asked if his jersey would make the cut, Jason said, “Of course,” and claimed he knew “exactly where” the jersey was at the time.
The brothers went on to debate the best way to display jerseys, with Travis arguing he’d forego a glass case so he can “feel the dirt and sweat” of the game-worn jersey.
Travis has a little more time to make his decision about returning to the Chiefs for a 14th season, and some clues certainly suggest he may be returning.
As Travis’ retirement decision continues to loom, Chiefs owner Clark Hunt said he “certainly” hopes his star tight end “will come back” in a guest spot on NFL Network’s Good Morning Football on Jan. 27.
Hunt said Travis, who said he’ll make the decision with the help of his friends and family, “had another great year, maybe not on par with where he was four or five years ago, but still had over 800 yards, and was really one of the leaders on the offensive side of the ball for us” during the appearance.
“So there’s no doubt in my mind that he can still play. We’re trying to be respectful and let him have the time that he needs to make a decision.”
