Gabrielle Union Jokes About Husband Dwyane Wade’s Photography Skills (Exclusive)

Gabrielle Union is giving the world some behind-the-lens details about husband Dwyane Wade’s “passion for photography.”

During a recent PEOPLE in 10 interview, the 53-year-old actress proudly revealed how her partner is progressing as a photographer.  

“Who knew he’s a full-on photographer? He developed a passion for photography, and now he looks like paparazzi when we go anywhere,” Union said of the NBA alum, whom she also hyped up on his 44th birthday on Jan. 17 with a flirty Instagram montage.

She continued, “He’s got like four cameras and he takes lessons with local photographers in every city so he can learn from different pros.”

Union also told PEOPLE that while Wade does “very well” at shooting buildings and architecture, he could use some training photographing her. 

“I shoot him like I love him. I shoot him like I am attracted to him. He shoots me like he is down for sabotage,” she said jokingly.

The entrepreneur added, “We’re going to work on this. Like, baby, that is sabotage, that is straight double chin. Like, what are you doing right now?”

“Bring [the camera] up,” Union suggested as a quick solution.

The Bring It On and Love & Basketball star first met Wade in 2007 before they started dating two years later. They got married in 2014.

The couple celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary last August. At the time, Union marked the occasion with a heartfelt Instagram post.

“Eleven years of marriage and I’m still waking up next to my best friend laughing through the adventures, dancing through the challenges, and raiding the snack cabinet together. This love feels like the best sleepover we get to call home,” she wrote, in part, in the post’s caption.
