She told PEOPLE that her husband is happy to care for their kids whenever she has to work.
Sidibe said, “If I ever need to get on a plane and go some place to work, he holds his babies down. He’s got it and he makes sure that I can FaceTime with them a couple times a day if I want to.”
“He really is my backbone. He is my ultimate supporter. I’m so lucky,” she added.
The Give Me Back My Daughter actress and Frankel got engaged in 2020 after meeting on a dating app.

Sidibe’s words of appreciation for her husband come as she’s been busy preparing for her television film directorial debut with Mary J. Blige Presents: Be Happy.
The movie starring Tisha Campbell, Mekhi Phifer and Russell Hornsby “explores themes of reinvention, intimacy, and the turning points that define midlife as one woman embarks on a journey to rediscover her purpose and her voice to reshape her future,” according to an official synopsis.
Mary J. Blige Presents: Be Happy premieres on Lifetime on Feb. 7.
