A private engagement party in Puerto Rico turned into a once-in-a-lifetime concert when Enrique Iglesias took the stage — just weeks before welcoming his fourth baby — alongside fellow Latin music superstars Ricky Martin and Marc Anthony.
Texas attorney Thomas J. Henry and Dr. Elena Alvarez Westwood celebrated their engagement with an epic, yet intimate gathering at the Fairmont El San Juan Hotel, with hundreds of their close friends and family traveling to San Juan for an evening that blended personal meaning with top-notch entertainment.
“We met in Puerto Rico, and this has been our special place,” Alvarez Westwood tells PEOPLE. “We have enjoyed so many times together in Puerto Rico and felt that it was most appropriate to share our engagement party here with our family and friends.”

Guests arriving at the historic oceanfront resort were greeted by a striking performance from the Earth Harp.
Inside, a lavish cocktail reception featured ice sculptures and live music by 35 musicians from the Philharmonic Orchestra of Puerto Rico, performing familiar compositions with a Latin twist. The couple intentionally requested an “unplugged” experience to encourage guests to fully engage with and enjoy the festivities.
As the night unfolded, Iglesias, 50, Martin, 54, and Anthony, 57, delivered surprise live performances, transforming the engagement party into an unforgettable private concert. For Alvarez Westwood, one moment stood out above the rest.

“I have known Ricky for a very long time, so having him sing happy birthday to me was very special. Being able to share this with Tom, our family and friends was a very warm experience I will never forget,” she says.

The festivities continued outdoors with a drone show choreographed to music, followed by a fireworks display that drew cheers from the crowd. As the celebration carried on, DJs took over, transforming the event into a dance party that stretched into the early hours.
Beyond the glamour, the couple says their shared commitment to giving back remains central to their future. Alvarez Westwood, an interventional breast imaging radiologist, has long been connected to causes focused on early breast cancer diagnosis and treatment. She and Henry recently co-chaired the American Cancer Society Puerto Rico Gala and plan to continue supporting philanthropic efforts on the island and nationally.

As for their wedding plans, the couple is keeping the details under wraps.
“Our wedding will definitely be an intimate experience, and something we want to ensure is kept private — to the extent those things are possible in today’s environment,” Alvarez Westwood says. “The size of the wedding we have yet to determine, however, though it is safe to assume that we will have a smaller and more intimate wedding than our engagement party.”
