One Battle After Another star Chase Infiniti says working with Leonardo DiCaprio was full-circle, considering he starred in one of her favorite films — and it’s not Titanic.
Speaking to PEOPLE ahead of the AARP Movies For Grownups Awards at The Beverly Wilshire Hotel on January 10, 2026, 25-year-old Infiniti said of DiCaprio’s filmography, “Do you know what’s crazy? Is I didn’t watch Titanic until last year. I had not seen it. My Leo film was Catch Me If You Can.”
“I watched that when I was younger,” Infiniti said of the 2002 movie, which also stars Tom Hanks as an FBI agent who aims to send cunning con man Frank Abagnale Jr. (played by DiCaprio) to prison. “Great film. I love that film so much. So that’s the Leo film for me.”

Infiniti plays Willa in Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another, a girl whose revolutionary parents (DiCaprio and Teyana Taylor) face off against military foes.
While making the film, she tells PEOPLE she did have time to speak to DiCaprio about Catch Me If You Can.
“There’s a musical that’s based off of that film,” she notes. “And one of my early conversations with him is talking about the film, but also talking about the fact that there’s a musical based off of it. And so my early conversations with him was literally about that film.”
Infiniti said in a recent Today show interview. that the audition process for One Battle After Another spanned five or six months, she said on the Today, after first sending in a self-tape while shooting her screen debut, the AppleTV+ miniseries Presumed Innocent with Jake Gyllenhaal.
Although it was a whirlwind to meet DiCaprio, 50, and Anderson, 55, a month later, the actor-director duo were “so kind,” she recalled. “I’m so grateful for the entire experience.”
