Ashley Park is getting real about her love of crocheting!
The Emily in Paris star, 34, referred to the hobby as her “Roman Empire” when catching up with PEOPLE at the Dec. 15 premiere of season 5 in Paris, France.
“I just finished an emotional-support succulent for Lily [Collins] that I was going to give to her at the beginning of press,” she says. “And I just, I’m already thinking about, I’ve already started mini projects for everybody. So currently, it’s that.”
Park adds, “It’s a little nerdy, but that is so cute.”

Park revealed on a Dec. 8 episode of Good Morning America that she’s been crocheting for Collins’ 10-month-old baby Tove Jane McDowell, whom Collins shares with her husband, director Charlie McDowell.
“It just became a hobby. It looks like I’m starting an Etsy shop,” she joked.
Park also gifted Drew Barrymore a crochet coaster, featuring daisies, during a recent appearance on the Drew Barrymore Show. The host called the gift “so beautiful.”
The latest season of Emily in Paris — which stars Collins and Park, alongside Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu and Lucas Bravo as the titular Emily Cooper takes on Rome — arrived on Netflix on Thursday, Dec. 18.

PEOPLE caught up with Park (who plays Emily’s BFF Mindy Chen) and Collins while on board the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express for the season 5 celebration, where they got candid about their incredible bond offscreen.
Collins called Park “the only person I know that when she feels something, I feel it, and that can be excitement and happiness and that can be anger, that can be sorrow.”
“And I can even get it from a text message or her songs or anything. I’ve just never had that,” Collins said. “There’s this empathy between the two of us that from day one was so connective.”
Park added that her favorite thing about her friendship with Collins is that they “came into each other’s lives where neither of us needed anything from each other.”
“And we still don’t,” she said. “We could go weeks or minutes without talking. But I know that if I ever really need somebody or something — and even if I don’t even know how to ask for it — she’s always there to offer. And vice versa.”
Emily in Paris season 5 is streaming now on Netflix.
