NEED TO KNOW
Ariana Grande provided an update about her Eternal Sunshine Tour for fans!
During an interview on Sunday, Jan. 4, the pop star and actress spoke to E! News about her first tour in six years on the black carpet at the Critics Choice Awards in Los Angeles.
“I’ve been working on the setlist for months now,” she told the outlet. “It’s in a good place, but we’ll never know until we get into the rehearsals—which are starting very soon—and we put things on their feet if it’ll make sense or not.”
However, Grande, 32, declined to get too specific about what her audience could expect.
“I want to let it be a surprise,” she said of her upcoming shows.
In November 2025, Grande opened up about her Eternal Sunshine tour during a conversation with Nicole Kidman for Interview magazine, where she revealed that the 2026 tour will have fewer stops compared to previous ones.
“We’re doing a small amount compared to what I used to do back in the day. I think it’s 45 shows,” she said at the time, noting: “It’s not that small, but it’s at least half of what I used to do.”

The “Into You” hitmaker added that she’s “excited” for the experience, despite its smaller run.
“I feel really grateful and excited about it in a way that feels so different to me,” said Grande. “I’ve just been healing my relationship to music and touring over the past couple of years.”
That same month, she made an appearance on the Good Hang with Amy Poehler podcast and reflected on the future of her life and career — even delving into her upcoming tour.
“I think the last 10 to 15 years will look very different to the ones that are coming up,” said Grande at the time.
Of her forthcoming tour, the “We Can’t Be Friends” artist said, “I don’t want to say any definitive things. I do know that I’m very excited to do this small tour, but I think it might not happen again for a long, long, long, long time.”
But Grande said the tour is “going to be beautiful” and it’s something she’s “so grateful” is happening.
“I think that’s why I’m doing it because I’m like, ‘One last hurrah.’ For now,” she said.
The Eternal Sunshine tour is set to kick off on June 6 in Oakland, Calif.
