Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci are all back together for The Devil Wears Prada 2.
On Sunday, Feb. 1, 20th Century Studios teased the release of a brand-new trailer for the highly anticipated sequel to the 2006 film The Devil Wears Prada. In a 30-second first look shared earlier in the day, the costars share barbs as their characters meet once again, 20 years later.
“You’ve changed,” Emily (Blunt) tells Andy (Hathaway) in a meeting room, “you’re much more confident. You kept those eyebrows, though, didn’t you?”
The studio teased the full trailer, writing on Instagram, “Trailer tonight. That’s all.”

According to Variety, the sequel follows Priestly “as she navigates her career amid the decline of traditional magazine publishing and as she faces off against Blunt’s character, now a high-powered executive for a luxury group with advertising dollars that Priestly desperately needs.”

Along with the core four, Kenneth Branagh, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak, Pauline Chalamet, Patrick Brammall, Caleb Hearon, Helen J. Shen and Conrad Ricamora are slated to star in the new film. The original director, David Frankel, and writer Aline Brosh McKenna also return to the world of Runway.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Blunt, who plays Miranda’s faithful assistant Emily Charlton, teased what viewers can expect to see of her character’s storyline.
“Why are Meryl and I so mean to each other in every movie we do?” Blunt said. “We always have beef with each other. I don’t know what it is. Let’s hope we remedy it. I’m not sure.”
Speaking about returning to the iconic story after 20 years, Blunt said, “in a blink, it’s gone bye.”
The actress told PORTER magazine for her September cover story that making Devil Wears Prada 2 isn’t “just doing a movie.” “It has deep emotional roots for a lot of us,” Blunt added.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 is in theaters May 1.
