Robbers allegedly broke into the Los Angeles home of Suits star Gina Torres on Jan. 30.
Two male thieves reportedly burglarized the actress’ Sherman Oaks home and stole approximately $225,000 in jewelry and cash, The New York Post reported, citing local police.
Authorities swept the residence but were unable to locate the two men, who allegedly fled the scene in a white sedan, the outlet reported.
The thieves arrived around 7 p.m. local time and gained entry into the home by smashing windows and stole $25,000 in cash and over $200,000 in jewelry, the Los Angeles Police Department told NBC Los Angeles.
Torres was allegedly not home at the time of the burglary, and a neighbor who witnessed the breakdown called police.
Torres, 56, known for her roles in Suits and 9-1-1: Lone Star, previously spoke to The Hollywood Reporter in 2025 about the resurgence of Suits after it started streaming on Netflix in 2023. Although the series ended in 2019 and Torres left in 2016, she noted that she experienced being recognized for her role as Jessica Pearson much more often.

“I don’t know what to make of it, honestly,” she shared at the time. “It has gotten harder to walk through airports, that much I can tell you, for sure. I think it is indicative of what a great show it was. It taps into a kind of aspirational drive that we all have for ourselves and maybe a future that we see for ourselves.”
PEOPLE reached out to the LAPD for further information about the robbery.
