NEED TO KNOW
Beyoncé is just “That Girl” when it comes to winning Grammy Awards.
Since the early 2000s, the mononymous superstar has earned the coveted honor, both as a solo artist and the lead singer of Destiny’s Child. The members of the best-selling R&B group took home their first awards in 2001, and Beyoncé has continued to rack up more trophies ever since.
The Houston native released her solo debut album, Dangerously in Love, in 2003 before dropping Destiny Fulfilled in 2004 with her former bandmates. (The beloved trio announced they were disbanding during their world tour in 2005.) Beyoncé has gone on to release seven additional solo studio albums, a joint album with husband and fellow artist Jay-Z and a curated soundtrack album for the 2019 Disney live-action film The Lion King.
In total, the singer has won 35 Grammys and been nominated 99 times — the most of any artist. The “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer extended her lead in 2025 when she received three awards during the ceremony, including the coveted Album of the Year trophy. (Beyoncé is not nominated for any Grammys in 2026, as she did not release any new music during the ceremony’s eligibility period.)
“I just feel very full and very honored. It’s been many, many years,” she said onstage while the Album of the Year award in 2025. “Just want to thank the Grammys, every songwriter, every collaborator, every producer, all of the hard work.”
Here’s a look back at every Grammy that Beyoncé has won throughout her decorated career.
