Nicole Brydon Bloom is sharing an update on her pregnancy.
The Paradise actress, 31, caught up with PEOPLE at the 2026 Critics’ Choice Awards, sharing an update on her pregnancy. The star, who’s currently expecting her first baby with husband Justin Theroux, 54, says she was sick in the first trimester, but her second trimester has been “going really well.”
“I feel good. I was sick in the first trimester, so that was a bummer, but the second trimester has been going really well,” she says. “I feel very lucky and grateful for that.”

Elsewhere in the conversation, the expectant mother, who stars as Agent Jane Driscoll in the hit Hulu series Paradise, tells PEOPLE that she’s preparing both for her new addition as well as the second season of the popular show.
“I have the most adorable little niece, and so my twin sister Christine has been really helpful with advice and baby stuff, and obviously simultaneously preparing for season two of Paradise to come out,” she shares. “It’s a good work-life balance at the moment.”
In early December, PEOPLE confirmed that the Hollywood stars were expecting their first baby. The exciting announcement came a few months after the pair tied the knot in March, with a source also confirming the wedding news to PEOPLE.
On Dec. 30, the actress shared several pictures and videos on her Instagram, recapping the couple’s tropical babymoon to their “favorite place” in Mexico. In the snaps, the soon-to-be mom shared pictures of them enjoying time in the sun at the beach, pool and in nature.
“So much fun to revisit our favorite place with a little one on the way 🕊️👶🏼,” she captioned photos of the two at Hotel Esencia in Xpu Há, Mexico — the same place they tied the knot.

During an exclusive interview with PEOPLE at the Fallout season 2 premiere, Theroux teased his holiday plans, sharing that he and Bloom would rather spend their time on white-sand beaches than white, powdery snow.
“We usually like to be somewhere warm. So we’re going to continue that tradition again this year,” Theroux told PEOPLE exclusively at the time.
Theroux added that he gets plenty of winter chill at his home in New York, so he likes to change things up during the holiday season.
“Well, as a New Yorker, you do everything in your power to get out of New York in the wintertime because you inevitably have to spend a lot of it there,” he said. “So Christmas is the time of year to get somewhere warm.”
