NEED TO KNOW
The Big Game will be extra Short n’ Sweet.
PEOPLE is the first to reveal that Sabrina Carpenter is making her Super Bowl commercial debut this year with Pringles. The “Espresso” singer’s snack brand spot will air during Super Bowl LX on Sunday, Feb. 8, but we have an exclusive sneak peek at a teaser for the commercial.
The 15-second teaser opens with the pop star sitting on a kitchen floor. Carpenter, who is wearing a white turtleneck dress and kitten heels, is leaning up against the wall and holding a flower made of Pringles.
He loves me, he loves me not,” she says, picking chip petals and changing her intonation with each sentiment. “He loves me, he loves me not.” Gasping, she picks up one more Pringles and exclaims, “He loves me!” before eating the chip.
While the brand “can’t let too many crisps out of the can right now” when it comes to details about the commercial, a press release on the spot explains that the Super Bowl commercial will lean into its new “Once You Pop, The Pop Don’t Stop” campaign. Plus, the brand teased that fans can expect more sneak peeks in the next few weeks.
Last year, Pringles recruited Adam Brody, Nick Offerman, James Harden and Andy Reid for its Super Bowl 2025 commercial. The spot paid tribute to brand mascot Mr. P’s iconic handlebar mustache, as did its 2024 advertisement with Chris Pratt. Back in 2023, Pringles recruited another pop singer for its Super Bowl spot: Meghan Trainor.
Details about 2026 Super Bowl commercials are only just starting to trickle in. On Tuesday, Jan. 13, Elijah Wood announced his involvement in Skittles Super Bowl LX spot, which has a unique IRL element. The Lord of the Rings star appeared in a Skittles ad which aired on Jan. 13, as “a magical creature that can be summoned by a horn to deliver Skittles.” But there won’t be a corresponding TV spot airing during the Big Game in February. Instead, Wood will perform live on a fan’s yard.
From Jan. 13–21, contestants can visit DeliverTheRainbow.com to enter for a chance to have Wood show up on Sunday, Feb. 8, to deliver a Skittles commercial. The spot will be livestreamed during the Super Bowl on the brand’s social media platforms (IG, TikTok, Facebook).
Super Bowl LX will be held on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
