NEED TO KNOW
Josh Allen is turning the spotlight on his wife, Hailee Steinfeld.
The Buffalo Bills quarterback, 29, gushed over the Sinners star, also 29, in an interview shared by ESPN Originals, and revealed the one thing she’s taught him about himself since they’ve been together.
“My wife is an unbelievable, undeniable rockstar in her work and in her life as a person,” Allen began in a clip uploaded to Instagram on Monday, Jan. 12, adding, “She’s everything that I need in my life.”

When asked what she’s taught him that he maybe didn’t know about himself before their relationship, the NFL star took a second to think about the question thoughtfully. Then, his answer became clear.
“Maybe that I am more than a football player,” he began. “My whole dream as a kid was to be in this position and I never thought of anything outside that or beyond that, and you know hopefully I get to still play this game for a very long time.”
Allen and Steinfeld have been romantically involved since May 2023. They quietly tied the knot in May 2025 and announced that they’re expecting their first baby together on Dec. 12, 2025, via her Substack newsletter.
Shortly after their newsletter announcement, the couple shared a joint Instagram post with the same video. “I love you ❤️,” Allen commented on the clip.
The video shared by ESPN Originals was uploaded one day after the pair had respectively busy — and successful — nights on Sunday, Jan. 11.

Allen led the Bills to a playoffs 27-24 win against the Jacksonville Jaguars that evening, while Steinfeld’s Sinners brought home two Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night. The film won for Best Original Score and the new Cinematic and Box Office Achievement award.

Although the star QB couldn’t be with Steinfeld in person at the Globes, he showed his support for her on Instagram with an Instagram Stories post hyping up her look as she showed off her chic maternity style on the red carpet before the award ceremony began.

“🤤😍,” added Allen alongside the photo of Steinfeld, who wore a Prada gown for the occasion.
Next, the Bills advance to the divisional round of the NFL playoffs. Allen and the team take on the Denver Broncos on Saturday, Jan. 17, as they continue their quest to the 2026 Super Bowl.
