Elle Fanning pulls double duty in Predator: Badlands, letting loose both her good and bad sides.
The actress, 27, stars in a deleted scene, shared exclusively with PEOPLE, from director Dan Trachtenberg’s latest entry in the sci-fi saga.
Badlands went on to become the highest-grossing film in the long-running Predator franchise after hitting theaters in November.
Fanning stars as two different “sister” androids in the movie, Thia and Tessa, opposite Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi as the alien-warrior protagonist Dek.
In addition to more deleted scenes, the at-home release of Predator: Badlands features audio commentary and behind-the-scenes content, including one breaking down Fanning’s dual roles.

Schuster-Koloamatangi, 24, has said he was impressed by Fanning’s contrasting performances in the movie.
“It actually was quite a noticeable difference between when she was dressed as Thia and when she was dressed as Tessa. My body could feel it,” he told The Hollywood Reporter. “When she’d be walking around in Tessa’s clean-cut white [suit], I would just get a little bit standoffish. I’d be like, ‘I don’t know this lady, actually. She’s a bit different from my other friend.’ ”
“But, honestly,” continued Schuster-Koloamatangi, “I have to give massive props to Elle for her performances as both. She did so well in differentiating both roles. Playing dual roles is such a hard ask of any actor, but she did it so effortlessly and with so much grace. It was honestly so awesome to be able to witness that.”
Predator: Badlands is now available to watch at home on digital, then on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD on Feb. 17.
