NEED TO KNOW
Tommy Lee Jones is a father to two children, son Austin and daughter Victoria.
The Fugitive actor welcomed son Austin in 1982 and daughter Victoria in 1991 with ex-wife Kimberlea Cloughley, whom he was married to from 1981 to 1996.
Victoria was found dead on Jan. 1 in San Francisco, according to multiple reports. She was 34 years old.
Prior to Victoria’s death, she mostly stayed out of the spotlight except for a few red carpet appearances with her dad. In 2017, the two smiled for photos — alongside his current wife Dawn Laurel-Jones — at the Just Getting Started premiere in Los Angeles.

Tommy welcomed Austin on Nov. 9, 1982, and raised him in his home state of Texas. Austin has followed in his dad’s footsteps and made his mark in the entertainment industry as both an actor and a composer.
His notable acting credits include roles in The Homesman, in which he played the banjo, and composing credits for the movies Metamorphosis: Junior Year and Frontera.
When talking about The Homesman in an interview with Movies.ie, Tommy mentioned how he worked alongside his son on set — Tommy directed and acted, while Austin was the musical supervisor.
Set in the Midwest during 1855, just a year after the Nebraska Territory was established, the 2014 Western film traces the journey from Nebraska to a town in Iowa. According to Tommy, his son “went through the archives of 19th-century music that would have been expected in that part of the world.”
“He found some important and rare songs for us,” Tommy added.
Austin also makes his own music — he has released a number of albums, including Dead Calm in 2022 and At the Polo Club in 2023. The musician also toured across the U.S. in 2024.
The composer reminisced about playing music and touring in a 2023 Instagram post (which has since been made private). “We are all old friends and road runners who have been singing and screaming together for well over a decade in TX, AZ, OR & WA,” he wrote of his musical crew.

Tommy and Cloughley welcomed Victoria nearly 10 years after her brother on Sept. 3, 1991. She followed in her father’s footsteps from a young age, even appearing in a movie before she was a teenager.
Victoria’s 2002 role in Men in Black II marked her first in Hollywood. Following her acting debut in the blockbuster film, she continued to build her portfolio with a memorable performance in 2005’s The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, a film directed by her father and which featured her stepmom, Laurel-Jones, as the stills photographer.
Tommy opened up about his daughter and her achievements, telling The New Yorker in 2006 that, “She’s a good actress, has her sag card, speaks impeccable Spanish … When she was a baby, I told Leticia, her nurse, to speak to her in Spanish.”
He went on to recall having to fire Victoria one time on the set of The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada.
“She had to get up at 5 a.m. for her part,” he said. “One morning, she wouldn’t get out of bed. I said, ‘Honey, this is work.’ But she wouldn’t budge. So I fired her. Then, without telling me, the production staff went over and woke her and rushed her out to the set just in time.”

In addition to her film roles, Victoria made an appearance in the popular television series One Tree Hill in one episode in 2003. After 2005, the actress seemingly stepped away from acting, but she still occasionally made red carpet appearances with her father.
On Jan. 1, Victoria was found dead at a hotel in San Francisco. PEOPLE confirmed that the San Francisco Fire Department responded to a medical emergency at the San Francisco Fairmont just before 3 a.m. local time. They found an unnamed person dead at the scene.
Victoria’s official cause of death has not yet been released, but NBC Bay Area reported that foul play is not suspected.
