NEED TO KNOW
Mindy Kaling knows the magic of Disney — especially around the holidays!
On Wednesday, Dec. 17, the mom of three shared an Instagram Reel showcasing everything she ate during a recent trip to Disneyland. The trip appeared to be for her daughter, Katherine Swati, who goes by the nickname Kit, and celebrated her 8th birthday on Monday, Dec. 15.
Kaling, 46, shared photos of herself with Katherine and her two siblings — Spencer Avu, 5, and Anne, who was born in February 2024 — at the theme park in a separate Instagram post.

In her latest post, the pictures and videos of the theme park’s treats did the talking.
The multi-hyphenate began her Instagram Reel with a clip of herself nodding in approval as she took a bite of a churro, which she rated a “10/10, a classic for a reason.”
Next up was popcorn inside a small tub decorated with some of Disney’s most iconic characters. While the presentation of the age-old treat was fitting for the location, Kaling gave it an 8/10 because it “filled a need.”

Fans were then treated to what Kaling called “12/10 a work of art” — a Minnie Mouse 70th Anniversary Caramel Apple.
According to Disneyland Park Blogs, the treat is a “Granny Smith apple with marshmallow ears dipped in caramel and milk chocolate and decorated with a lavender sugar dress, teal M&M’S Milk Chocolate Candies, and a 70th Celebration Minnie chocolate bow.”
While Kaling’s joy bounced off the screen for the caramel apple, she gave the complete opposite reaction to the peppermint-sugar Mickey beignet, making a sour face and writing “6/10 no comment.”
However, things turned around again when Kaling filmed herself eating a soft serve with red, green, and white holiday sprinkles. She gave the treat a “10/10” for being “festive and delish” and said that it was “approved” by one of her kids as well.

The Kaling family also enjoyed other items, such as a garlic-cheese pretzel with marinara sauce. Even though it was “not pretty to eat,” it still got a 9/10.
“I love the holidays at Disneyland but I really love the food more,” Kaling captioned the post.
