Cardi B Blings Out Her Post-Baby Body with Dermal Implants and Piercings

Cardi B is getting bedazzled.

What appeared to be one month after welcoming her fourth child, a boy whom she shares with NFL star Stefon Diggs, the rapper, 33, got back into the piercing parlor for a new set of body bling.

New York-based piercer Robbie (or @nyc.piercing on Instagram) posted a behind-the-scenes video of the Grammy winner getting her post-baby body decked out in “fresh” dermal implants — which require an anchor with a post to be inserted under the skin and decorated with a jewelry-like top — on her back and a surface piercing on the nape of her neck. (According to the Association for Professional Piercers, it’s advised to wait three months to get piercings following childbirth.)

“Loving the vibe!” wrote Robbie, whose past clients include Travis Barker and Noah Cyrus.

No pain, no gain may be the motto for piercings, but Cardi is a champ, especially since she’s racked up quite a collection over the years.

In January, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper and mom revealed on X that she decided to get her butt crack pierced with a diamond accessory that she later disclosed cost her $13,000.

Later in September, she revealed on the Call Her Daddy podcast that the enhancement “didn’t hurt” thanks to the numbing done beforehand. She then explained how her past plastic surgery made the experience slightly easier on her pain tolerance.

“I’m not gonna recommend it to people because I had surgery on my butt,” she explained. “Sometimes people say that my butt is too big, but they don’t understand they already did a butt surgery to reduce my ass… I practically did a tummy tuck on my ass… So, like, the top of my ass, that skin part is numb. So when I pierce my ass, I ain’t feel s—. It was, it was the easiest piercing ever.”

Cardi made the most out of the month she had her piercing — before she lost it. “I realized I was like, ‘Hold on.’ I was looking around. I was looking at my pants and my panties and stuff, and I’m like, ‘Yep. Went down the toilet.'”

In addition to acquiring new jewelry (which also includes a gold piece made out of her umbilical cord), Cardi has been soaking up life with her newborn, whose name has not been revealed yet. Recently, she posted a sweet photo of the two cuddling, captioned with, “My cuddle buddy 🧸🩶 I love him soooo much.”

As for Diggs, to whom Cardi was romantically linked in October 2024? Well, the 32-year-old New England Patriots player is likely getting in the dad zone. “I can’t wait to make him do push-ups and sit-ups and run around,” he told PEOPLE just days before Cardi shared the news of their little boy’s Nov. 4, 2025, birth on Instagram.
