Connect 3 wouldn’t change a thing about their past.
In fact, the first teaser trailer for Camp Rock 3 shows the fictional boy band—portrayed by Jonas Brothers members Joe Jonas, Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas in the Camp Rock franchise—returning to the titular summer camp to seek out their past.
As the Camp Rock 2 hit “Wouldn’t Change a Thing” plays in the Dec. 4 video, the brothers approach the sunny lakefront, with Nate Gray (Nick) saying in a moment of reflection, “Music, friendship, memories.”
“We’re back,” Shane Gray (Joe) chimes in. “Exactly where we’re supposed to be.”
And maintaining his aloof character Jason Gray, Kevin makes a comment about Camp Rock, adding, “Still no birdhouse.”
But, as the JoBros told Deadline last month, the members of Connect 3 are only “doing a little cameo” in Camp Rock 3. The story, instead, will focus on the musical camp’s newcomers Liamani Segura, Malachi Barton, Lumi Pollack, Hudson Stone and Casey Trotter, all of whom are briefly featured in the teaser. (Original star Demi Lovato is an executive producer on Camp Rock 3 but has not been announced as a cast member.)
